Jawbreaker

Allay I have Wet n Wild Teal Slowly and See....I love this color!! So much so that I purchased a back up bottle. Isn't it dreamy....lol! This is 2 coats of Teal Slowly and See with a coat of Glossy Glam.  The accent nail is Funky Fingers Jawbreaker over a coat of Wet n Wild Blank Canvas, which just may be the most perfect white and for just .99!  All Funky Fingers are 3/$5 at 5 Below....if there is one in you area, I would definitely check them out for types of nail stuff.  Until next time happy polishing!!

Oooh Orange

When the Sinful Colors Sugar Rush Collection came out earlier this year, everyone was clamoring to get it.... I including me.  I was never one to purchase whole collections, but this is one of the few that I decided to bite the bullet and purchase all of them.  For .99 at the time, it didn't exactly send me to the poor house.

Any who, I'm wearing Orange Cream, a pastel orange with a very subtle shimmer.  The color seems similar to an orange sherbet or creamsicle and I like it.  I decided to jazz it up a little and make red dots with Sinful Colors Berry Charm and Wet n Wild Blank Pallet.  On my middle finger I added a little stud design and topped it all off with a coat of Just Ricarda Glossy Glam top coat.  Over all I was really happy with this manicure.  Until next time......happy polishing!!!!

Sugar Spun Nails

This is a manicure I wore about two weeks ago.  It's featuring the new Wet n Wild Pop Art Collection polishes.  I purchased them when they were on sale at Walgreen's for $.69 which was a steal.  These colors are gorgeous!!! I didn't know which color to start with so, I decided to try my hand at the sugar spun technique.  There are several YouTube tutorials for this.

For this mani I used Teal Slowly and See for the base and for the sugar spun effect I used The Clock Strikes Orange, Stand the Test of Lime and Who is Ultra Violet.  I did not use top coat on the nails with the sugar spun detail.  I absolutely love how these came out, so much that I kept it on for about four days.  For some that may not be a big deal, but for someone who changes their polish every other day, it's a huge deal!
Until next time...happy polishing!!!!

Plain Jane

Today, I have a plain Jane mani. I felt like I needed something a little subdued. I reached for one of my untrieds.....Essie Turquoise and Caicos. It's a beautiful turquoise leaning more towards green. I honesty don't know why I waited so long to wear this polish. The formula was kind of thin and to get the look I was going for I had to use four coats. For my accent nail I used my dotting tool and just made an off center row of dots using WnW French White and A England's St. George and toped it all off with a coat of Seche Vite. Until next time happy polishing!

Homage to Kim

This post is in homage to my cousin Kim.....she LOVES black nail polish.  Doesn't matter what brand, just as long as it's black.  Well, I'm not a black polish type of girl, but I decided to paint my nails black....but I couldn't leave well enoigh alone, I added holographic glitter.  For the black I used WnW Black Creme, in my opinion, it is one of the best black creme polishes out there and it's cheap too.  I then topped it with China Glaze Fairy Dust(holo glitter!) and a coat of Seche Vite.

Until next time....happy polishing

Diving for Pearls

Today I have for you Wet n' Wilds Diving for Pearls from the new Mermaids Cove collection. It's a pretty turquoise color leaning more on the green side with a slight shimmer. It's quite pretty and I think it looks great against my skintone. This was just a quick and dirty swatch, no base coat or top coat.
This is a very beautiful color and I can't wait to do a full mani with it. Until next time happy polishing!
