Leopard and Neon

This manicure was inspired by someone I follow on Instagram...@madicures.  I thought it was cute and wanted to give it a go.  I used China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy and China Glaze Champagne Kisses for the accent nail.  I think it came out really cute and I would definitely wear it again in the future.  The neon orange took 3 coats and for the glitter accent nail, I used two coats of glitter, a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite.  Until next time....happy polishing!

Infra-red

It's not a holo type of day but I decided to wear one anyway.  I have here China Glaze Infra-Red from the Hologlam collection.  Love the holo goodness, but I wasn't too fond of this color so you know it didn't stay on long.  This was 2 coats with a coat of Seche Vite.  I don't know that I will be wearing this on it's own again anytime soon.  Maybe I can use it for nail art....we'll see.  Until next time.....happy polishing!

Leopard Print....Love it!

Ok, so I was trolling through nail blogs and came upon Chalkboard Nails.  She had done an awesome leopard print mani and I just had try it.  I used China Glaze I'm Not Lion, China Glaze Liquid Leather and a NYC polish I don't remember the name of right now.  It came out great and I received tons of compliments on it.  I will most definitely try the leopard mani again with different colors.

Almost Tape Mani

Ok...so I first painted my nails with Essence @Holografics in Blue Ray.  I've had the polish for a while now, but just finally decided to wear it.  First things first, this is not a holographic polish, it's a very pretty blue purple duochrome.  The first coat went on a little streaky, but the second coat evened it out.  But...I just could not leave well enough alone and attempted an accent nail using tape.  Well, the tape didn't work for me so much, so I had to free hand it, but it did come out very nice if I must say so myself...lol! For the accent nails I used China Glaze Liquid Leather and Sally Hansen Insta-Dry in Instant Iris. Check it out:

I'm back!

Hello all! I have been M.I.A for God know how long, but I haven't stopped polishing or buying polish. I'm planning to catch up with posts and post some haul pics.....maybe one day I'll graduate to videos but until then...pics it is. What I have for you today is a water marble that I saw on Colette's blog My Simple Little Pleasures
, Her water marble tutorials are pretty easy to follow and I normally have pretty good results. This was using the same Colorado that she used in her video, China Glaze Liquid Leather and Ahoy....the only difference is that I did not do the figure eight swirl. Voila
Until next time....happy polishing!

Homage to Kim

This post is in homage to my cousin Kim.....she LOVES black nail polish.  Doesn't matter what brand, just as long as it's black.  Well, I'm not a black polish type of girl, but I decided to paint my nails black....but I couldn't leave well enoigh alone, I added holographic glitter.  For the black I used WnW Black Creme, in my opinion, it is one of the best black creme polishes out there and it's cheap too.  I then topped it with China Glaze Fairy Dust(holo glitter!) and a coat of Seche Vite.

Until next time....happy polishing

Across the Universe

Ok....this polish needs no words..but not everyone is a polish fiend like I am so I will give it a few. This is Deborah Lippmann's Across the Universe, a chunky blue glitter that I adore. To get no visible nail line, you can either use about 4 coats of polish or layer it over blue, which is what I did. I used China Glaze Up All Night. Isn't she lovely(in my Stevie Wonder sing song voice..lol)

Because it's so chunky I had to use 2 coats of Seche Vite to smooth it out.
Thanks for checking me out, until next time...happy polishing!
