NOTD: Starry Pink

I know I have been MIA, but I haven't much felt like painting my nails lately so i've been wearing them naked. I finally decided to paint my nails with one Of the new glitters from Revlon. There are 3, Blue Mosaic, Facets of Fuchsia and this beauty Starry Pink. It's a baby pink with tons of glitter, small microglitter and hex glitter. This is three coats and because it dries kind of bumpy, one coat of Gelous and one of Seche Vite.

Until next time....happy polishing!!!

My First Water Marble!!!!!

Hey all.....I'm super excited about my post today. It's my first water marble!!!  Yay me!  It is a tad bit messy but it's totally worth it!  The colors I used were Essie Midnight Cami, Turquoise and Caicos, Lapis of Luxury and Zoya Caitlin.

Of course I couldn't leave well enough alone
I added Covergirl Goddess,  a holo top coat!

So because I used a glitter top coat, I used a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite.  Now that I know how to do a water marble...this will definitely be my go to design when I want something funky!  Until next time .....happy polishing!

NOTD: Barielle's Elle's Spell

Today I have Barielle's Elle's Spell, a beautiful red jelly polish with flakies(now y'all know i love flakies and what looks to be glitter!).  The flakies are gold, green, looks like a little blue.  I love this polish and I got it on clearance at Ulta last year sometime.  This is  4 coats of Elle's Spell because it is rather sheer, with SV top coat.
The flakies just glow and it's purty!

Don't mind the tip wear...had it on for a while b4 i took pictures.

Over all I love this polish, application was good and the color is lovely.  If you can still find this polish, get it.  Until next time....happy polishing!

My First Jelly Sandwich!!!!!

Today I have for you a nail trend that is pretty hot right now....jelly sandwich nails.  What is a jelly sandwich you ask...well it's two coats of your favorite jelly/sorbet polish, glitter and finally another coat of jelly/sorbet polish.  For this jelly sandwich, I used 2 coats of OPI Do You Think I'm Tex-y...(a combo of deep pink and purple) a coat of OPI Teenage Dream and one final coat of Do You Think I'm Tex-y and to top it all off a coat of SV.  If you ever looking for something to jazz up your standard jelly polish, give a jelly sandwich a try.

I love this combo....it was very pretty and I can't wait to try another jelly sandwich!

Until next time....happy polishing!!!!

I Struck Gold!!!

Here we have Milani 3D Holographic in 3D....a gold holo.  As pretty as it is, I didn't really get that much holo-y goodness out of it.  Don't get me wrong, this is a great shade of gold and for me to say that says alot.  It's the only gold polish I have in my collection.  I usually don't go for gold because they are always foily and I'm not a huge fan of foils especially gold or silver ones.  Maybe I'll give it another try someday.  The application was good on this one....2 coats plus a coat of Seche Vite.

If you're looking for a gold polish, check out your local CVS and you maybe able to find this on the Milani display.

Until next time....happy polishing!
